Velammal, which had a modest beginning in the state, is now planning to spread its quality education across the country. Adapting to the changing trends in the education system across the globe has been Velammal forte. The endeavor is to bring in new thoughts, and impart value added education that would put Velammalians in the forefront in nation building.
Velammal action plan:
  1. To enable 100% of undergraduates to find immediate employment by imparting necessary skills and knowledge.
  2. To motivate students and faculty towards higher education and research.
  3. To create entrepreneurial skills in at least 10-20% of students.
  4. To establish incubation centers on campus for mutual benefit of institute and industry.
  5. To develop a management model worth emulating in corporate governance.
  6. To collaborate with global centers of excellence to collaborate regarding knowledge, technology and research.

  8. To offer consultancy to local industries and give hands on experience in the relevant areas to all students.
  9. To upgrade the infrastructure by enhancing the architectural designs of the existing structures.
  10. To produce emotionally balanced, socially responsible professionals.
  11. To develop professionals with global outlook, tempered with Indian values.
  12. To instill in young professionals a code of ethics on par with organizational expectations.
  13. To generate awareness on immediate social problems.
