The Foundation stone was laid for the new TVIS – Bodhi Campus on 27th January 2009 at the Velammal International School(TVIS) Campus by the Chief Guest Shri Govind Das Purushotham Das, Correspondent of Vaishnav Group of Institutions, in the august presence of the prestigious primitive parents of TVIS. Bodhi School(Velammal Knowledge Park) is yet another new venture of the Velammal Educational Trust – a CBSE school, commencing from June 2010, that has vowed to cater to the needs of students of grades VI – XII aspiring to pursue professional courses.

Chairman Si M V Muthuramalingam, C E O Sri M V M Velmurugan, Correspondent Sri M V M Velmohan, Director Sri M V M Sasikumar and Executive Director Sri M V M Ramesh participated in the function.

The ceremony was preceded by a formal gathering welcomed by the Principal of TVIS Mr. K. Kothandaraman, who expounded the motto behind the onset of the new campus at TVIS. The Chief Guest while addressing the gathering said, “The Velammal Group of Institutions has carved a niche for itself in the field of education”. Mrs. Sunitha Rao, the Vice Principal of TVIS expressed her heart-felt gratitude towards Mr. Neelankandan Pillai, the Principal of Kolaperumal Chetty Vaishnav School for the consistent support extended at various occasions. The Correspondent and Principal of Velammal Matriculation School, Panchetti were the other dignitaries who graced the occasion. The spectators were enlightened to behold the banner proclaiming ‘V’ are 25, still growing!
